Fear of Projection
For one performance only and exclusively for MediaCampNottingham
Saturday 9th May 2009 - 5.30 (performance is 45mins long)

Writer/Director/Performer: Drew Davies
Synopsis:
You’re invited to meet one of America’s finest intellectual minds. Only, unfortunately, he’s dead. As Assistant Lecturer Edward bravely steps in to save the night, we embark on a multi-media journey of PowerPoint love and digital puppetry with both touching and hilarious consequences.
Reviews:
“A well-written piece from Drew Davies, an author with a wild imagination and lots of talent and a particularly engaging way of taking things to extremes which is endearing, very clever and just falls shy of falling destructively over the edge.”
- Fringe Review ★★★★
“This comedy stems from a simple idea, which is incidentally highly original and very well presented. A man and his projector forge something slightly more sexual than a platonic relationship, and what could be more straightforward than that? The idea may be basic, but the content, of course, is brilliantly bizarre. Drew Davies is beautifully convincing as nerdy Edward, bumbling his way through an hour of perfectly timed jokes and material that really offers something to get excited about.”
- Three Weeks ★★★★
“Uniquely compelling. This one’s a true gem.”
